Jim & Team programmers,
I can understand the "QSO machine" reasoning, but why is the "Disable Tx after
73" box even there? With the box unchecked, the "Enable Tx" box changes from
red to gray and no further transmissions are made until manually enabled again,
as is expected. One would think, logically, that if the box is CHECKED instead,
that this disabling action would NOT take place,. But, we know that a QSO
machine feature is NOT desired, so why does the box even exist?

Instead, what happens when the "Disable Tx after 73" box is UNCHECKED is that a
long series of Tx5 "73" messages is sent at the end of a QSO. They continue to
be sent until they are manually stopped. I see no benefit of the box even being
there, unless I'm missing something as to what it is supposed to do.

Why not hard code the disabling of further transmissions after a Tx5 (73)
message is sent and eliminate the "Disable Tx after 73" check box completely?

That's normal - user interaction to start another QSO is required to
prevent "QSO machines"

Under Settings, General tab, under 'Behavior', ?the "Disable TX after
73" unchecked. However, ?when the Tx5 (73) message is sent, the log
QSO box comes up as it should, but the "Enable Tx" goes from red to
gray. This disables further transmissions until the "Enable Tx" button
is clicked gain.

Shouldn't the system continue on to Tx6, and send the CQ message in
the next transmit sequence ?

Has this feature been eliminated or maybe I am misunderstanding what
the check box is supposed to do?
