Hi Joe. Keep up the great work, FT8 is just incredible, I use it almost every afternoon on 20m & 17m.
I have read the release notes and I guess it is just different. Now it takes two hands to change both frequencies at once. I'm just not sure why you want to move them separately. I guess it is for running splits, but I very seldom see anyone actually doing that. The old way with one click I could move freq and call CQ. And on 20m you have to move around all the time. It can be very crowded. And with FT8 time is critical as everything is fast moving. So if a spot opens up you have seconds to grab it. So I guess I just liked the Lock Rx-Tx feature so everything moved at once. It will just take a little time to get it in my head to use both hands. Thanks again for many fun afternoons.
