I use Logger32 - works nicely now with UDP feature.
Not necessary have another programs running and with embeded BandMap it's easy
to see, if the station worked or not on particular band and if needed for DXCC
etc..

There is no limit...mine is 2.5MB for example.
All WSJT-X does is append the file and really know nothing of the size nor
cares (cares more on startup as it loads it).
Why don't you use a real logger? Lot's of choices...my favorite is Log4OM.
