I have the cat port on my YAESU radio controlled by my N3FJP logging program.
I have the WSJT-X bands programmed into radio memories because the setup for
flat audio and CW audio bandwidth is different. Fast AGC for WSJT is not easy
to listen to on an SSB net. WSJT-X wants the noise blanker and DSP off, I need
them on at my (S5 is low-noise) QTH for other modes.
When you save the memory you save all the setup including the output coax
connector.
If you have only two antennas then use the radio to select output 1 or 2, but
you may end up like me with many antennas (wire is cheaper than a good tuner)
and use output 1 and an external antenna switch that decodes the BCD output
from the "amplifier" connector to switch the antennas and/or amplifier.
There may be a better way, you may find it on a Yahoo group just for your
radio.

Pat

ifchoosen a other band

Thanks for answer Pat but this is not what i mean.

All what i mean is that if i switch from band in the wsjt-x software the ant is
not switching to the good antenna.

so  a example: 20 mtr ant1 moxon  40mtr ant2 ZS6bkw  so if i go in the wsjt-x
software switch to a other band say from 20mtr to 40mtr the antenna stay’s on
ant 1

With my Kenwood ts 590 if i switch from band with wsjt-x  from 20mtr ant1 Moxon
to 40mtr ZS6BKW  the ant will switch automatic to ant2

Richard,

If you have an external switch you need the interface for Yaesu to run it.

If you have two outputs on the back of the radio, there should be a menu option
set up to select the antenna

based on the band. Yaesu likes lots of menus.

Hi all,

I just buy a new radio Yaesu ftdx 3000 but see a little problem.. don’t now if
it’s my fault  If I switch the band in wsjtx 1.9.1 software from say 20mtr to
40mtr my antenna is not switch from ant1 to ant2.

If I push the band button on the radio the ant switch from ant1 to ant2.

With my other radio Kenwood ts590s the antenna switch from ant1 to ant2
automatic if I changed band in the wsjtx software.

Off course I hope someone have a answer for me 

Best regards PD1BHZ Richard
