Hi Richard,
this behaviour is a consequence of the way the Yaesu CAT control
protocol works, setting the rig to a new band by sending it a CAT
frequency change command does not recall the band specific aerial
setting. I believe the information is recalled if the CAT command to set
the band is used before setting the frequency, but the Hamlib library we
use for CAT control does not currently attempt to do this, nor does it
provide a band set operation for us to use.
