I think the simplest solution would be to have a option in WSJT-X to
enable/disable color highlighting. For users of JTAlert, having two sets of
highlights can be more confusing than it is helpful. I don't think there's
any way that WSJT-X can do a color configuration that keeps everyone happy
(see the incredible number of options in JTAlert). I agree with others that
the core product should concentrate on sending/receiving messages, not UI.

If developers have time to work on this kind of thing, it might be better
to help get JTAlert ported to Linux/Mac.
