Thanks but I can't find where to disable the 77 bit options? In the Settings, Advanced, nothing is checked in the FT8 Message types.
I know I am getting old at 82 but let me know where the disable is. Other than a couple of gripes it seems to be working very well. No crashes, no false decodes, very sensitive. I like the color codes. I don't use any external logging so I don't have those problems. Not many using it at 7.078 or 14.078 maybe this weekend. Hi Maurice, you are using WSJT-X v2.0.0-rc2 on the conventional FT8 sub-band. If you are doing that you must disable the 77-bit options otherwise stations using the v1.9.1 GA release will not decode your extended format messages.
