I view myself as being a pioneer with RC4 and don't expect that there will be many stations using it now, but that the number using it will gradually increase over time. As Joe said, there is going to be confusion for a while. A great many hams will not even know that RC4 exists. I would not have known about it if I had not joined the FT8 group on Facebook. But changing over will be inevitable and I will watch as more and more stations convert to it.
