The "73 Loop" is not specific to the contest mode or FT8 v.2.  I have this
problem with 1.9 also.  I usually log the contact with my RR73, then if the
other station resends R _xx, I click on Tx5 NEXT then enable the transmit.

RR73, <wait> RR -xx ... 73
