so if I operate as K2GC/M  I can call CQ, run through a complete QSO, get a
73 and log, with no grid ever exchanged automatically?

I guess I dont understand why we would allow a /P and a /R for contest
purposes but not include the basic /M for mobile use?

the problem I have with this is, it does not allow me to maintain separate
logs for different operating conditions.


I am just trying to figure out how I can continue to operate as K2GC/M and
have everything work properly, and still get a proper exchange out there.
