Now back to original meaning of my message that was not to comment about
contest rules at fist place, but comment wsjt-x program behavior.
-If I call CQ with settings/advanced/"ARRL rtty roundup enabled"
-someone answers to me with settings/advanced/"EU VHF" enabled
-my wsjtx will inform me with line at "RX frequency" window that EU
VHF mode is enabled (without my actions !)
*How can I prevent this?*
-when I get next answer from station with settings/advanced/"ARRL rtty
roundup enabled" my wsjt-x gives a splash notice that rtty roundup
should be enabled, but does NOT do that without my action (via
settings/advanced/"ARRL rtty roundup enabled")
Switch to "EU VHF" as automated action can cause snowball effect if I
answer next station (not the one who used "EU VHF" at first place)
leaving "EU VHF" enabled by accident. So his wsjt-x will turn to "EU
VHF" and next one he answers get the same reaction... and so on.
Either always allow auto switch to BOTH directions, or do not allow it
at all. I prefer the last one.
