Hi Raino,

I did an additional view on my excel extract.

If it is an issue on my receiving audio path, than all received stations should
be doubled. This is not happened.

If it is an issue on my sending audio path, than all the other stations who
received my should be doubled. Those is also not happened.

So it stays the possible airplane issue. Here the entries with more doubles in
the same time are interesting. My understanding is, that than the azimuth
should be the same – but it is not.

Myself can life with this situation 😉 But quite interesting to know what is
the real issue. What I wanted to inform that on wspr-mode is the same curiosity
and maybe someone find out with those data the root cause. Al the data are
public and can be downloaded and analyzed on wsprnet.org … I do it on a
monthly base but extract the logs which are containing my callsign.

Hi Roland,

Yes there are now and then 100 or -100 Hz differences and some with 50 or -50
Hz. The latter is an indication that 50 Hz mains is overloading some section of
audio path. It may also happen at the receiver side. I did not analyzed, if
this is the case on those 50 Hz instances. But a lot of less than 100 Hz or 50
Hz or some random value; most probably those are airplane reflections.

Hello Bill,

on wspr there is the same symptom.

I have filtered the calls with my ID where such one came in last month.

Maybe more helpful – there is the exact frequency of such more entries.

You can find it as attachment.
