Hi Martin,

is there an easy way to disconnect the hard wired PTT from your
interface, for a test? I ask because it seems like the IC-7610 appears
to be doing something odd when keyed both via a CAT command and via the
ACC socket.
Hi Bill, yes I did wonder if there was some sort of weird conflict between what
the CAT data
was telling the 7610 to do and what was happening on the PTT/SEND input on the
ACC1
socket.

I've got a sort of break-out connector that goes in-line between the DIN plug
on the end of the
cable coming from the G4ZLP interface unit and the ACC1 socket so I'll see if I
can dig out
the break-out connector and then disconnect the PTT line, and then repeat the
tests with only
CAT controlling PTT to see what happens.

Hi Martin,

thanks, that will be helpful. It would not be the first rig that doesn't correctly apply "OR" logic to multiple sources of PTT.
