First, I realize the TS-480 is not on your list.
I operate a TS-480SAT with Raspberry Pi 4B 2G, WSJT-x v2.2.2 and CQRlog 2.3.0.
It works fine with Settings: Radio Kenwood TS-4480, CAT Control Serial Port
/dev/tty/USB0, Baud 9600, PTT CAT, etc.
Previously, I operated the same HW with WSJT-x 2.0.0 and CQRlog 2.3.0 with
Radio Hamlib Net rigctl, CAT Control 127.0.0.1:4532, CAT Control etc.
I I added to /etc/rc.local at end before exit 0, the following:
=!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/rigctld -m 228 -r
/dev/serial/by-id/usb-RT_Systems_CT63_Radio-Cable_RT2HJGF8-if00-port0 -s 9600 &
This worked fine and allowed the CRQlog program to sample the TS-480 frequency
for display. However I can't get this Hamlib Net rigctl to work with WSJT-x
v2.2.2.
Any explanations and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Let me know
if additional info is needed.
