I noticed that while running WSJT-X v2.4.0-rc1, the original WSJT-X
"Pwr" control setting produced excessive AGC levels on my K3

2.4.0-rc1 than with previous versions.
Unless a software change is made so TX audio levels match those of
previous versions of WSJT-X, I'm afraid that we all will be hearing
more kazoo sounds on the FT8 & FT4 frequencies and will be seeing more
and more spurious signals on our Wide Graph screens.
"Pwr" slider idea:
Would it be possible to change the way to read the "Pwr" slider
setting dB level? Presently, users must move the slider setting in
order to check the dB level,We should be able to read the setting
without having to change it.
How about adding a small "dB' box right under the "Pwr" label I think
that would make more sense than the way it is now. Can this change be
implemented?

Rich,
everyone should be setting their equipment used with WSJT-X to give
maximum clean output when the Pwr slider is at the top (0dB attenuation).
The output levels have not changed, have you checked your setup,
particularly the master sound card output level and the per application
mixer level fro WSJT-X?
See https://wsjtx.groups.io/g/main/message/13890 for a recipe for
setting Tx audio levels correctly.
