Further testing with the version Mike W9MDB sent me the other day:

Split Operation > Fake It still does not work correctly. Examples:
FT8 - transmit dF 2000Hz; radio moves up 1 kHz to transmit (should only go up
500 Hz?), but down only 500 Hz each cycle
MSK144 - calling CQ 263, starts out OK, reverts to all .260 after a few cycles.

Split Operation > Rig works correctly, but the frequency display flashes
between different readings (too fast to identify) at the end of each transmit
sequence.

Tried rc2 - Split Operation > Rig; freq display only flashes once before
settling back down.

Re-installed v2.3.0 to confirm that it still works properly, and it does.

Back to v2.4.0 rc3b, the one Mike MDB sent the other day.
Split Operation > Fake It - FT8 - if I answer a CQ and use a transmit dF that
requires shifting my freq, it behaves properly. If I CALL CQ with a transmit
dF that requires a shift, the radio will move up 1 kHz to transmit, but back
down only 500 Hz. To receive.

Hope this helps and doesn’t confuse things!

Thank you.

Mike Cizek WØVTT
