HI!
I see the problem #1 every day when I open wsjtx. And every day I shrink
it horizontally to minimum. And again it starts wider than set at last time.
It is a "property" and I have tried to modify the main window with QT
designer, but as it branches to several pages it seems to be very hard
to modify and I have not yet succeeded to create version that would be
at minimum width from start.
It is very bad thing, but seems to be that one just have to live with
it. I think most people use the main window larger than minimum and so
it is out of interest to make it keep its size, even when minimized.
With problem #2 I have noticed that transmit tone can suddenly change to
PC internal sound card and then back again to rig's sound card. It may
happen even during same transmit period.
And other nasty "feature" is that sometimes, when split/rig is used,
receive frequency (vfo1) may get it's frequency from last used TX
frequency (of vfo2).
So suddenly you find out that half of waterfall is empty and when check
the RX frequency it has jumped to last used TX frequency.
How ever I count both these to be caused by RF problems because they are
related to band and power used and also the weather outside that twists
OCF dipole properties.

I recently updated WSJT-X on my PC to the latest version and ever
since I’ve noticed two things:
1. I sized the windows for the waterfall and decodes to my liking but
with the latest version, when I start the application the decodes
window continues to open up larger than the waterfall window,
which stays at the size I set it to.
2. When I launch the application it sets the frequency .055 Hz higher
than what the frequency should be. I’ve included a screenshot of
what happens when I first launch the program. I don’t know if
these are true bugs or if I just don’t have something configured
properly.
Thank you – K7CB
