Hi Charlie

Thank you for ur fast reaction, meanwhile I got a few more offers yet to help me :-)

Yes, version 2.6.1 is still working flawless since a long time in an other directory, so I have 2.6.1 and 2.7.0 both available.

I was suspecting the new hamlib.dll and if you could tell me how to swap these files, I would be very gratefull !

I really don't know where WSJTX installs its 64 bit hamlib.dll

Thank you  !! 73 de Joop

Hi Joop

Do you still have 2.6.1 working?

If its a Hamlib issue, you can replace the hamlib .dll file that was generated with the new installation with the one that is in the 2.6.1 installation.

Can provide details of how to do this.

    Hello friends,

this is Joop PA0JMV and I am new to this group, pse forgive me any
    stupid questions?

Have been using all versions of WSJT-X since the start, yearsago,
and never had a real problem that couldn't be solved.
Yes, I have read release notes and RTFM's, but no working
    insyallation yet.

MY PROBLEM: after upgrading from a great working release version
    2.6.1 , I tried rc4 a few days ago. (PC=Windows-10pro 64 bit).
Today I installed rc5, same problem.

Installation went fine (in a separate directory, as usual), but
when I start up WSJTX, my Kenwood TS2000, (connected via CAT for
many years) switches to TX mode and no way to  get it in RX mode.

When I look into "SETTINGS-RADIO-tab" I see a comment about
_hamlib 4.6 git 2024-06-23_, I tried to install that via the
available button, but nothingg changed after restatrting the PC.

Then I tried te revert that hamlib update... nothing changed.

So I fear that a recent wrong hamlib version messes up with my
TS2000  (tested to change my settings to any other radio, then the
TX mode did not start, but CAD didn't work of course)

I am not a PC specialist, so I don't know how to manually find nor
    install any other hamlib.dll ....

Please help me, or do I have to wait for another rc?

    Thanks, 73, Joop
