I am not sure that there would be any differences between sound cards in different rigs as far as this feature goes.
I agree that the solution has to be generic, but I am just talking about after the user hits OK, check to see if the connection is closed. If it is, clean it up and open it again. I expect that it will be pretty simple and pretty generic. That said, I do not have a testbed full of transceivers here. I would have to rely on others for test. I do have friends that I could call on, though. Mark
