I think that would be great to have. We have a few cases, for example, where a js dialog may or may not show so we want to handle it but don't want to wait around for the whole time because it may never fire.
If you decide to implement it let me know and I can roll back in the timeout - I don't think it's necessary for this release, though, so no rush :) Thanks! Hugh
