Good morning, Kevin. It sounds like you are doing all the right things to get the word out about your program. In Montgomery and Dothan, Alabama, we have used television, radio, newspaper, and The Bulletin Board (publication advertising items for sale by individuals) to reach the general public. We also have an advertisement that runs on the local cable channel. We have also mailed brochures to churches, social service agencies, and companies. In an effort to specifically reach our target audience, we have made presentations to Food Stamp workers at the Department of Human Resources, made presentations to child care assistance recipients, and ran an article in the Housing Authority newsletter. We also maintain tabletop displays with brochures at a variety of locations including Food Stamp offices, area banks, housing authority offices, child care management offices, consumer credit counseling offices, etc.
