Kevin,

Our most successful marketing effort (yielding the highest number of
inquiries resulting in qualified applicants) was placement of ads inside the
city buses. Our bus system offers free annual ad placement to non-profit
organizations. We just had to design the ad and pay for printing. We
received assistance on ad design from our partner financial institution's PR
department and they also hooked us up with the company that prints their PR
materials so we could get a good deal.

Good Luck,

Subject: [WTW] Marketing

Howdy,

We are new to the Ways to Work program here in Jacksonville, Florida. Right
now business is slow. I am seeking guidance from other W2W Loan
Coordinators on what has contributed to your success on getting applicants
in the door.

Currently, we have more than W2W 10,000 flyers in the community.

We've been touch with just about all the local social service agencies in
town.

We are looking to get the word out to the local public schools.

In the next few weeks, we will have a press release to all the local radio
stations, TV stations, and our local newspapers.

I am seeking any other marketing ideas that have made your programs a
success.

Thank You,
Kevin Hansen
