Subject: [WVU Cycling] Pre-Hammer ride, ride
Now that the clocks are forward, is anyone interested in doing a
Hammer-ride style ride on Wednesday? The official ride won't start up
until the end of March, but there is no reason a small group of us
can't do it now.
I'd say start at around 5pm to make sure we have enough sunlight.
For those who don't know, the Hammer ride is a fast pace training
ride, out 100 to big shannon and back via 19. It is expected that you
work, and make an effort to pull through. Sprints at the state line,
and KoM at the top of the 100 and again on 19. We regroup at certain
spots to pick up riders who get dropped. Highly encouraged that any
skill level attends, as this style ride will make you faster.
