And here's another data point that suggests this.  Yesterday I saw the xterm
popping happen when I opened a (probably Firefox) window to imdb.com.  The
popping happened early in the session, either when first connecting to imdb
or immediately after hitting return for a search.  This is not a very strong
data point, as was my yahoo email dp, but there was likely to be a user auth.
