I just re-tested, still able to connect and bring up Firefox okay. I am
using Firefox 49, and I'm also have the developers option to install proposed
packages turned on so it's totally on the bleeding edge.
If those don't help perhaps might be worth reviewing the plug-ins you
have on Firefox or what site you are going to when it blows up.

I wasn't specific enough, it is 16.04.1. I've installed on a test computer as
well and the problem replicates. This problem didn't happen until I did an
apt-get dist-upgrade today.

I am using 16.04.1 LTS and do not have this problem. If you are just on
16.04 and not 16.04.1, I would suggest upgrading. I had a lot of problems with
16.04 as well. I think it was released a little ahead of being ready for
primetime.

Subject: [X2Go-User] Segfault on some applications
I just upgraded Ubuntu from 14 to 16.04, and I really regret it now. Many
things now don't work within X2go. I've completely lost KDE, which I see is a
known issue, but for some reason now Firefox and many other applications don't
work. I even tried gnome-calculator and it doesn't work now, but LibreOffice
does. I'm not sure if it's because of the graphical toolset used or not. The
most important app not working for us is Eclipse. All of the applications that
don't work function fine with an exported X session, but there is just
something in X2go that is keeping it from working.
