A wild suggestion: try just using a local path/filename for the
StreamResult constructor.  This is not really legal per the JAXP/TrAX
specs, but it often works since the code 'does the right thing' to
create a local file.

Also remember that the xsltc half of the processor hasn't been fully
tested with all the JAXP API's yet.

And oh, yes, xsltc questions should come to this list (or to
xalan-j-users) since xsltc and xalan are just two 'halves' to the same
great XSLT processor project!
