I'm don't remember which version of Xalan-C++ corresponded to Xerces-C++,
but I suspect it's 1.3.
However, you still will need to port Xalan-C++ to Borland C++ Builder,
which, if you can't get a modern version of Xerces-C++ working, doesn't
sound like you'll have much luck getting Xalan-C++ to work. I've tried
several times to port Xalan-C++ to C++ Builder, but I've been frustrated by
non-conformance issues with the compiler, and internal compiler errors.

Please respond to
xalan-dev
Since I did not succeed to build any version of Xerces-C++ posterior to the
1.7.0 (I'm working with Borland C++ Builder 6 on a Windows 2000 platform),
which compatible version of Xalan shall I try to use, and how can I get it
?
