Maybe for the first time I solved my own problem. In any case the
problem with my log file was the call sign was too long by one digit.
Go figure...
BTW, I think Xastir isn't parsing for 9 chars, it's parsing for 6 on
the left of the dash and 2 on the right. Meaning you can't use a 9
character word like "EMERGCNTR" or "BIKECHASR" because it isn't an FAA
legal call sign. I'm not positive about that but pretty sure I tried
it once and failed.
