I followed the cookbook script that does apt-get ..... but it was at least a
year ago for the install.
unbuntu 12.04ltsmaps are basic aprs stuff like comes on winders platforms plus
ozsm and online maps which show up in /usr/local/shar/xastir/maps as well in my
download directoryWhen choosing an online map like texas local radar, I get the

How was Xastir installed (source or package) and what version?
Specifically - what maps have you downloaded and where were they placed?
How are you trying to view them - have they been selected in the chooser?
Any error messages in the console?
