What are you talking about! Your making wild assumptions AGAIN!. When
do I use the wording "sponsoring"?
I clearly say the login does not provide a service, purchase and is
only a donation... Most of which is a temporary solution to a long
term issue that you've yet to discuses with me. I do not profit from
PseudoTV Live!
BTW, Whats the difference between me giving a thank you gift
in comparison to donating $50 bucks to get my name on the Kodi wall
@kodi.org <http://kodi.org>? *cough* hypocritical!!
@rob "Please can you clarify how this differs from "Added Features" in
PseudoTV Live"
What added features? they are tools not features, without donation
users get the same abilities... There are no feature restrictions,
that would be wrong!
Donations have clear wording... they are not required, not needed and
not a purchase of goods or service. For your donation I give you a
thank you!
Honestly if Kodi team members would engage in a conversation with
me... instead of tossing around allegations they can't back... We
could have had a solution months ago. But instead you guys shun,
berate and blacklist all behind a developers back, cowardly! Some
community this is!
I've tried to explain my long term goals, my willingness to make
changes if need be and my lack of interest to profit from this plugin,
GOT A DAY JOB!
I really hope the trouble makers see a therapist, this community is
getting way to hostile.
hey Lunatixz,
as i'm not really familiar with the previous conversations that took
place regarding pseudo tv live, i feel late to the party as well.
until recently, i only focussed on skin related messages that were sent
to the mailing list and let all the others slip by.
so, if i'm not 'too late', i'm willing to provide some clarifications
about the team's rules for accepting addons in our repo
and/or try to resolve whatever issue is keeping pseudo live tv from
being added to the addon repo.
i'm aware that in the past team kodi had (and to a lesser degree still
has) issues with the pseudo tv live section on the forum.
there were some concerns about the referral links in your post which are
prohibited on our forum. luckily these are gone now,
so a big thanx for handling that.
the remaining issue on the forum is the donation stuff. we do addon devs
the place 1 (one) donation link for their addon
on our forum (see: http://kodi.wiki/view/Forum_rules#No_solicitation).
in the pseudo tv section, i've seen at least 3 stickies (there may be
more) that future a donation link. also the accompanying
text with the button is far from our 'Donations for this addon
gratefully accepted' guideline.
also, having a donation link in your signature isn't something we can't
allow on the kodi forum.
it would be very much appreciated from our side if you could address
those concerns.
my advise would be to simply link the donation button to your own
website where you can provide further details
about the need to send an email in order to receive the donation gift etc...
we only care about what happens on the kodi forum and have no intention
to regulate the rest of the interweb ;-)
it's those forum annoyances that probably made us a little hesitant to
accept pseudo tv live in our addon repo.
none of us have a clue what kind of gift you provide, but it seems to
include credentials to unlock 'something' in the addon?
if you could please provide us with the details then i can check whether
or not that poses a problem for inclusion in the repository.
just let me know if there are any other questions, concerns or
annoyances from your end and i'll try to get into them.
please keep in mind i have a daytime job as well and at times may have
to consult other members in order to provide answers,
so my responses could take a while. but i'd rather put some time and
energy in trying to resolve issues that seeing the addon
mailing list turn into a bitchfest between addon devs and team members :-)
cheers,
ronie
