Blue Hills Trail update January 15, 2001...
With temperatures hovering near 32 degrees F the past few days, Sunday's
sticky snowfall (January 14) was partially groomed by rolling the
skating lane for about half of the EastSideTrail. Striding conditions
were good yesterday (Sunday, January 14) using waxless skis, and skating
conditions appeared good in areas that were freshly rolled January 14.
Another inch of sticky snow accumulated by Monday morning (January 15),
and more extensive grooming is anticipated as soon as temperatures cool
down.
