One inch of fresh snow this morning (Sunday, February 25), mid-day
temperatures near 28 degrees F, and very good skiing. Icy conditions in
town were absent on the trail system. In areas not yet groomed, the
skating was very good with the fresh snow on top of yesterday's
compressed, rolled trail. In freshly groomed areas, the skating was
excellent, and the striding track looked great.
2½ inches of heavy snow yesterday morning (Saturday, February 24) were
compressed by rolling the EastSideTrail. A striding track was set this
afternoon (Sunday, February 25) on the EastSideTrail, and much of the
EastSideTrail was rolled again today. Grooming of the WestSideTrail is
anticipated Monday evening.
