BlueHillsTrail report...
The EastSideTrail received touch-up of the skating lane this morning
(Saturday, March 17). After a seven inch snowfall Monday (March 12),
the entire system was packed by rolling Tuesday, March 13, and a
striding lane was set for part of the EastSideTrail.

Freeze-thaw cycles are producing a transition to corn snow. Sunny skies
and temperatures in the thirties today (Saturday, March 17) produced
excellent spring skiing conditions, especially for skating. Monday's
seven-inch snowfall has been well compressed by Tuesday's grooming; the
base is in great shape -- no bare spots.
