Some of us have been skiing the past 3 days on Lake Wingra....shared with ice boats,
hockey players, ice fishermen, and ice skaters. Looks completely frozen to me. Best
snow is along the north (Edgewood, Wingra Park, marshy area to west) side and the east
(Arboretum Drive) sides, but circling the whole lake is possible with some double
poling across short icy stretches. Plenty of snow as of yesterday morning. Easiest
access is Wingra Park (behind Michael's Custard).
