What I heard is that Lake Geneva and Sturtevant got the most snow. Problem is there's no place in Sturtevant to ski. I had checked out Racine last tuesday during that first lake effect storm, and it really wasn't skiable.
Whitnal park is the best I have found so far. Haven't heard about the north side of Milwaukee, however friends in 'Tosa and New Berlin were suprised that I was skiing, so they may not have much. I figured Greenbush would be in good shape, but the last I saw on the Adelsman page, they don't have anything. Whitnal Park golf course and general area seems to be best bet in this neck of the woods. Warmer temps tomorrow, but cloudy. If we survive tomorrow, then it should be good until mid week. Crystal Ridge ski hill has been making snow, approx. 20% open. May have to sneak on , but they will have snow. Any other downhill areas with snow making? Olympia perhaps? Ski on !
