Hi folks,

Is there some xCAT config option we can set to get updatenode (and thus
rsync) to push out dangling symlinks to nodes ?

We need to push out symlinks to the BG/Q SN's we're deploying via xCAT
which point to files only on them (not on the x86 xCAT management
node), but rsync doesn't like that, complaining thus:

[root@imgr ~]# updatenode avoca-m-test -F -V
imgr.vlsci.unimelb.edu.au: Internal call command: xdcp -F
/install/custom/install/rh/bgqsn.synclist
Running command on imgr: /bin/hostname 2>&1

Running command on imgr: ifconfig -a| grep "inet" 2>&1

avoca-m-test: symlink has no referent:
"/cfmroot/bgqsn/etc/httpd/conf.d/navigator.conf"
avoca-m-test: symlink has no referent:
"/cfmroot/common/etc/pam.d/pwauth.orig"
avoca-m-test: symlink has no referent: "/cfmroot/bgqsn/etc/pam.d/pwauth"
avoca-m-test: rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see
previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1039) [sender=3.0.6]
File synchronization has completed.

...and yes, there is a sneaky homage to CSM in the paths.. ;-)

cheers,
Chris
