What type of system is it? I note ttyS1,115200 being indicated, suggesting
that *if* IBM, then an HS22 or similar/newer BladeCenter server?

Can remove 'quiet' from the xnba nodes config file, might give more hint in
rcons...

I'm really stumped on this one :)

As a shot in the dark, can you try changing noderes.netboot to be pxe
instead of xnba? Then re-run makedhcp and nodeset $node install. See if
you get anything different in the output.

The other step you can try is taking "quiet" out of the kcmdline to see
if any additional verbose output is presented that can help diagnose the
issue.
