Hi team,
I am in the process of installing a cluster of approx 800 iDPX nodes, and
we are suppose to have 4 service nodes. I have re-installed the service
nodes several times, in my usual way, but unfortunately, I am coming to the
same result
# makedhcp -a
Error: Unable to dispatch hierarchical sub-command to sn1:3001. This
service node may be down or its xcatd daemon may not be responding.
Error: Unable to dispatch hierarchical sub-command to sn2:3001. This
service node may be down or its xcatd daemon may not be responding.
Error: Unable to dispatch hierarchical sub-command to sn3:3001. This
service node may be down or its xcatd daemon may not be responding.
I have been trying to diagnose for 6-8 hours, and not being able to figure
out the issue.
The SN themselves can run all the xCAT commands itself, it seems there may
be something up with the SSL connection between the MN and the SN. SSL is
my weak point unfortunately and not sure where to start debugging.
Any help on this would be very useful.
