FYI, if you look at ipmi.pm, you'll see that it actually has some http
support to get a java webstart file for imm. Having 'ipmi' branch on
mfg/product ids to do non-ipmi stuff wouldn't be a terrible thing.

Unfortunately, it's written in a pretty ugly way (totally my fault, I wrote
the ugliest facet of it). After I get pyghmi more fully baked, I'll
probably equip the perl IPMI library to enable easier to follow code (or
delegate some of the hardware control to confluent...)

Unfortunately that requires some hacking on the wvid script, and we are
trying to avoid customizing default files so that future updates are much
easier.

We'll go forward with implementing nodehm.mgt=iKVM, nodehm.power=ipmi. That
seems to work even though xCAT complains about nodehm.mgt not being ipmi if
you try to chdef a node to set the bmc address. It still works and finds
the bmc address for rpower purposes if one of the groups the node belongs
to has -bmc set.

A nice feature in future versions (in my opinion anyway) would be to allow
custom plugins to run out of nodehm.cons / nodehm.power, and
if .power / .cons is set to get out of the way and not try to do console or
power commands via nodehm.mgt :-)

Unfortunately after testing this does not work real well - it results
in the ipmi.pm module saying "Remote video is not supported", and
then our iKVM.pm module actually launching and working.

Perhaps this needs to be a feature request so that when nodehm.cons
is set, ipmi.pm does not attempt to do any video support?

Also yes, this is only stuff for supporting remote video on Dell
      iDRACs that utilize java consoles.

Correct. This is a normal old Dell box, so rinv and the like
isn't really necessary for these nodes.

I believe we might be able to utilize nodehm.cons to put our
"iKVM" string in, set ipmi for nodehm.mgt and nodehm.power, and
then go off of the nodehm.cons column if it won't negatively
            affect other major functions. Thoughts?
