Dear Lissa,

Thanks for sharing the file with us.

We have copied the file in the respective location and the command is
working now.

Now, we could not able to see the image via vncviewer. When we gave the
below command,

vncviewer gpok3:1 no window is opening.

Then we connected to the image via 3270 terminal, but we are getting log
as below,

Kindly help us to proceed further.

Re: [xcat-user] Reg error in executing nodeset command in zvm.pm

It seems you are running a zvm.pm from our 2.8 release stream where
the get_site_attribute routine was moved from Utils.pm to TableUtils.pm.
  Were you give a patch?
Attached is the 2.7 zvm.pm in the release the current 2.7.7 release.
Please replace /git/xcat-core/xCAT-server/lib/xcat/plugins/zvm.pm on your
system. I hope there are not any more files involved.

I agree with Lissa. It sounds like some kind of code mismatch. In
addition to:

rpm -qa | grep -i xcat

Can you also show us the output for:

 ls -l /opt/xcat/lib/perl/xCAT_plugin/zvm.pm
 ls -l /opt/xcat/lib/perl/xCAT/TableUtils.pm

Thanks,
Linda

Could you run rpm -qa | grep -i xcat

It sounds like your installed xcat rpms have a mismatch for the release.

Hi Linda and all,

Thanks for your reply.

We didn't receive your reply via mail and we found the below when we
searched in archive file.

What version of xCAT are you running:
lsxcatd -aAdvertising

If xcatd is responding to other commands (lsdef, etc.), try stopping and
restarting the xcatd daemon, and see if any errors show up in your syslog.

Not sure exactly how this is done on zvm. On linux it is:
service xcatd stop
ps -ef | grep -i xcat ### to make sure no hung processes
service xcatd start
tail /var/log/messages

If all of that is correct, try running the command in bypass mode to see
if
there are any plugin loading errors:
XCATBYPASS=yes nodeset gpok3 install

Linda

Please find the updates on the above advice
