Does ctrl-e, c, o cause the same wrong console to come back or the right
console?

Yeah all resolution forward and reverse shows both names, both IPs
correctly.
Rcons to host sl******11 takes me correctly to sl******11, however rcons to
sl******10 also takes me to 11.

Hmm… odd… host resolution nice and correct and unambiguous? Are they
‘swapped’ or both clobbering each other?

Hi all,
I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas as to where an IMM /MGT IP/hostname
or table might be misconfigured to cause rcons to take you to a different
host. For instance I rcons to sl******10 and it gives me the console of
server sl******11.
> I checked all name resolution and everything resolves correctly at the OS
level.
> I checked the IPMI tables and it also maps the hostname to management
hostname correctly (sl vs rc);
"sl********10","rc********10","1",,,,,,
"sl********11","rc********11","1",,,,,,
"sl********12","rc********12","1",,,,,,
> I checked the IMM and they have both have the correct IP set.
> I grep the specific IPs from all the tables backup, but none show as
defined, only the servers’ IMM name; ex rc*****10/ 11…. And that is only
found in the IPMI table.
> Both OS’s have their right IP configured
Appreciate any ideas/thoughts or direction,
Thanks!
Ben
