I worked with him offline. The consoles are correct, it’s just that one
console had misleading output on it that made it look like the wrong console.

Will you pls show me the output of "nslookup rc*******10" and "nslookup
rc********11" or "ping rc********10" and "ping rc********11"?

Thx!

Does ctrl-e, c, o cause the same wrong console to come back or the right
console?

Yeah all resolution forward and reverse shows both names, both IPs correctly.

Rcons to host sl******11 takes me correctly to sl******11, however rcons to
sl******10 also takes me to 11.

Hmm… odd… host resolution nice and correct and unambiguous? Are they ‘swapped’
or both clobbering each other?

Hi all,

I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas as to where an IMM /MGT IP/hostname or
table might be misconfigured to cause rcons to take you to a different host.
For instance I rcons to sl******10 and it gives me the console of server
sl******11.

"sl********10","rc********10","1",,,,,,
"sl********11","rc********11","1",,,,,,
"sl********12","rc********12","1",,,,,,

Appreciate any ideas/thoughts or direction,
Thanks!
