Hi Kevin, That yum -y upgrade is running after the system has rebooted (the script is postbootscript). I don't think it's running under a chroot or any similar isolated environment.
Additionally, my xCAT MN doesn't have an /install/netboot folder. However, I will double check whether the yum is running under chroot.
