The general principle is to leave things like yum out during packimage stage.
However, prior to packimage, you can, for example: # chroot /install/netboot/rhels7.5/x86_64/compute/rootimg/ [root@mn10 /]# To manage the image in place, and using yum externally: yum -installroot=/install/netboot/rhels7.5/x86_64/compute/rootimage/ In either case, /install/netboot/rhels7.5/x86_64/compute/rootimage/etc/repos.d is what yum will complaint...
