When I say "Used to report", I meant that older hardware with IMM2 used to (and indeed still does with the current version of xCAT) report firmware versions. Newer hardware with an XCC does not. On power9, rinv <nodename> firmware gives: "Error: Unsupported command: rinv firmware" rflash -l <nodename> lists a set of firmware.
