Hi, we have just released the official XCSoar version 6.0 alpha 1.
There are 614 changes since the last unofficial build (2010-09-29), and 8556 changes since the last official release (5.2.4). XCSoar 6.0 is being written by 14 developers and 16 translators (new team members of course very welcome!). This is not the final stable release yet, just the most important bugs we know of are fixed. More alpha or beta versions will follow, and when all bugs are fixed, we will release the final version 6.0.
