First flight of season yesterday, I took along XCS 6.0.5, ppc2000 on my Ipaq
3970 ppc win CE 3.0.
This device can't cope, it's much too slow. This is a bit of a puzzle since
xcs 5.2.4 runs fine on it.
I tried turning off terrain, topology, no help. I'm not using the logger.
Screen updates frequently take seconds. Most noticeable in circling, track
up. I don't use the thermal assistant, I just like to see where XCS thinks
the core is. The software appears to be very good, and it appears to be
functioning correctly... just much too slow to keep up.
Anyhow, I have a race coming up in less than a month, I need something
better, quickly.
I'm looking for something similar in size to the Ipaq that I can mount on my
existing flexible boom.
