You would most likely need to ask the coordinator/scorer. In Australia any IGC 
source is acceptable, as long as it has at least one form of height (GPS or 
Altimeter). You only need a secure logger for some badge claims and all world 
records.

Certainly if your scorer is using something like SeeYou for scoring it should 
work fine.
