Hi,

After checking the glider, I eventually decided what I will try to setup.

The Flarm is powered by the glider battery (as well as a LX, the radio...),
and I have an independant battery for the PDA with XCSoar. So I want to keep
my "legacy" GPS antenna as a backup in case glider battery runs low (it
often does), therefore I will implement a double switch for the appropriate
connections needed by the PDA. I intend XCSoar to automatically change
source upon my selection (either Flarm - GPS + "others" - ; or GPS antenna)
on the switch.

Problem is
- my "legacy" antenna is 4800bauds,
- the Flarm is 19200bauds for the reasons Turbo mentioned.

So I did the following test before I start soldering!: going to Setup System
page 14 select 19200 on COM1 for device A, 4800 on COM1 for device B, with
just my GPS antenna connected.
And it apparently fails to skip device A at 19200, in order to switch to the
device B: it does not catch GPS fix in this case.
eventhough is says "restarting port coms"

Is that a bug or a functionality?

Thanks

Adrien
