I agree with Claus that changing the AAT turnpoints is rather involved
and time consuming; rather dangerous in a single seater.
Currently we are required to execute: /Double tap/Nav/Nav/Target just
to get to where we can start to change anything.

I wonder if it would be possible to incorporate some kind of user
defined 'function keys' in XCSoar?
Rather than implementing a single solution to the above problem,
function keys that enable users to setup up their own preferred key
sequences
would be nice.

For example:  in the 'Setup System' pages, have a page for 'Define
function keys' F1 and F2.
Go to that page, select 'Define F1' which then throws you back to the
main page but records the next entered key sequence.
So Claus and I might enter the above string:   /Double
tap/Nav/Nav/Target and then the close button saves the sequence for
F1.
Thereafter /Doublle tap/F1 puts us where we want to go.  (The F1 and
F2 buttons, once defined,  would need be to be at the highest level)

Other users may have other desired 'favourites' and so could define F1
and F2 according to their needs, while on the ground, minimizing input
required while in the air.

Regards, Bernie.
